Background: Rafael and his older brother, Rastus, were both turned by the same woman on the same night. Rafael was 22 and Rastus was 25 when the woman seduced and turned them. They haven't seen her since. Rastus took this new power to be a gift and used it as a weapon. Rafael saw it as a curse and only turned others to fill his lonliness. The two brothers became enemies and are set on vanquishing the other.
